The Database Analyst will be a self-starter who can work largely unsupervised to aggressive timelines with competing priorities. They will use a variety of analytical techniques and communication styles to achieve their goal and understand when to escalate issues for resolution. Additionally, analyze and present data to establish, track and monitor metrics, performance, revenue and identify areas of improvement. This position requires strong professionalism and communication capabilities.
Coursework in project management, business processes or equivalent work experience.
2+ years’ experience in intelligence, operations, compliance, risk or operations monitoring related roles.
Training and presentation experience.
Ability to drive to provider offices and be in the field possibly 75%.
Prior experience in a fast paced insurance or health care setting.
Strong organization and process management skills.
Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred; must be able to read, write and speak English.
Advanced computer skills; proficiency in Excel, Word and Access is essential

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct detailed analysis of data to present performance metrics for individual Managers and administration.
Proactively identify, present findings, and follow through to completion process improvements that improve data quality, drive efficiency, mitigate risk, or provide new value to the organization.
Identify and extract essential information to support investigations, analyze the data, and synthesize the information into easily understood reports/ findings/ recommendations.
Create detailed charts and diagrams outlining results/findings of the analysis.
Improve and update existing daily/weekly/monthly reporting templates, both internal and external.
Perform various special projects and analysis as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
