By

Here we are. It is March 2020 and we are sure – no certain, that this is a time we will all never forget.

Employers are finding themselves in the difficult position of having to let go of vital and beloved staff due to revenue decreases.

Healthcare staff is having to work under duress with fear that they or their family members will be exposed to COVID-19.

Our hearts hurt with you all.

We are hoping this season will pass quickly and that normalcy will be restored to our lives soon.

In the meantime, we want to offer support and suggestions to our amazing medical community to help keep your Medical office running!

1.TeleHealth

Maybe you have been considering the option of TeleHealth for a while but have been hesitant to jump in.

COVID-19 has now made it necessary.

We all have to jump into the TeleHealth world to continue to operate during these unprecedented times.

Major insurance carriers like BCBS, Cigna, and Atena have already announced their plan to facilitate billing for providers providing virtual visits.

We highly recommended you stay informed and check with your contracted insurance carriers to learn more.

2. Be flexible with hours of operation

Now is not the time for rigidity.

Consider creating flexibility with your office schedule. Explore options for working in shifts to reduce the amount of people in office.

This is a great way to keep employees on the payroll (even if hours are reduced  to part-time) while maintaining social distancing recommendations.

3. Stay positive!

A good attitude and optimistic outlook is the only thing that will get us through these trying days.

Join in on positive conversations, laugh daily and find balance in our temporary “new normal”.

Stay informed, stay safe and let us know if you need support.

iDEAL is committed to YOU always and we know together we can get through this difficult time.
